Back at home, without the beloved room mate whom I Google so much with! We'll be reunited soon, but now for my own little Google rant.
Inspiration:
I've been trying to lose weight to make my ex-girlfriend jealous, and also look good for my new love interest, but we all know which one is more important! I drink coffee often, and I realized that when I drink coffee, I eat less, helping me lose weight. Is is just because it's filling, or is there some chemical equation? Well, I googled "lose weight drink coffee" and was lead to next search "catecholamine" which, according to non-scholarly and non-reliable sources, help you lose weight. From Wikipedia:
Catecholamines are sympathomimetic "fight-or-flight" hormones released by the adrenal glands in response to stress. They are part of the sympathetic nervous system.
They are called catecholamines because they contain a catechol or 3,4-dihydroxylphenyl group. They are derived from the amino acid tyrosine.
In the human body, the most abundant catecholamines are epinephrine (adrenaline), norepinephrine (noradrenaline) and dopamine, all of which are produced from phenylalanine and tyrosine. Various stimulant drugs are catecholamine analogs.
The search:
There is nothing useful about catecholamines regarding to weight loss. At least not according to the first three pages of Google results. Time to find a new magic trick to losing weight! Exercise? Nah....Conclusions / favorite findings
